What Is A Healthy Relationship?

A healthy relationship is characterized by sense of commitment, contentment, and safety. Here are the four steps needed in order to maintain a healthy relationship:

I'm the only person without a boyfriend/girlfriend:

Just because your friends may be in a relationship doesn't mean you have to be! Relationships should NOT be based off of your peers. When the time is right, someone of importance will come along, until then just be comfortable in your own skin.

 

 

I'm dating because it's something to do:

Relationships are all about respect and honesty. It is important to consider your partner's feelings. When partaking in a relationship, make sure to be dating for the right reasons and not just as a hobby.

 

Remember that being in a relationship is a huge committment and requires constant work! Communication, friendship, honesty, and support are key factors in maintaining a healthy relationship.
